The Ark is a unique tree lodge set in the heart of the Aberdare Mountains overlooking a floodlit waterhole and salt lick where animals come to drink. The Ark is modelled after Noah's Ark and has four viewing areas from which to observe the animals. In order not to miss anything, the resident guide will buzz your room when special animals come to the waterhole. Accommodation at the Ark is in the form of self contained cabins with showe and toilet. The rooms are on three levels A, B and C. Deck C is the main deck where all the main lodge facilities are located, including the restaurant, cloakrooms and bar.Activities that you can do at the Ark include game viewing from the comfort of the lodge, game drives in the Aberdare National Park and mountain climbing. Cuisine at the Ark is delicious and fresh.
