Visitors can languor in the hot springs and baths or witness the
pink parade of flamingoes on the lake shores. Animals small and
great reside together in the grassy thicket around the park, making game viewing a unique up, close and candid experience.
The papyrus outgrowth spreads across thirteen ficus woodlands as the smaller
animals wallow in the swamps and other game like: buffalo, zebra, cheetah,
baboon, warthog, caracal, spotted hyena, impala, dikdik appreciate the occasional
afternoon showers.
What bird crazed visitors refer to as ‘cloud nine’ in Lake Bogoria national park
is indeed a heightening experience. Bird watching is overwhelmingly alluring
but taking boat rides doesn’t require an ornithologist to make
a discovery. If you love camping then you will be happy to find out about the various
campsites and picnic sites available after you take that long but
very fulfilling nature trail.Typically, the peak season of January to March
is habitually hot and dry and most comfortable and appropriate for travel.
Access to Bogoria
The Park can be accessed eith er via air or through the Eldoret –Baringohighway.
There are airstrips at Eldoret town too.
