Mombasa Marine National Park

Mombasa is a fascinating town of many facets and an augmentum of the ancient and modern civilizations. In the 15th century AD, few Italians working with the Portuguese army sculptured fort out of a big rock on the ocean side and named it Fort Jesus. The even coastal line can be explored by cruising on dhows.


Best time to Visit

August to March are the dry months because the rainy season begins in April and goes through to June. At this time, viewing of animals is a bit difficult because most of them rely on the tides that change every season.
