Butterfly Africa

Kenya is home for more than 1000 butterfly species and the largest butterfly has a wingspan of 15 to 17 centimeters. At butterfly Africa Nairobi , you will see the largest and smallest butterflies in Kenya . The butterfly sanctuary is housed in an expansive green house of tropical trees offering a rare insight into the complex world of butterflies. There are guided tours in the sanctuary and explanation about environment, appearance and behavior of the butterflies. The butterfly sanctuary is open to visitor from 9 am to 16:30 pm and is located on Dagoretti road in Karen, Nairobi.
