Rift Valley

The Kenyan Rift Valley, which forms part of the Great Rift Valley, has a spectacular view. The Rift Valley stretches from Ethiopia to Mozambique. The Kenyan Rift Valley has breathtaking landscape where jagged escarpments and volcanoes tower over ochre soils, grassy plains and soda lakes. Steam and fluids spurt from the Rift valley's surface at Lake Bogoria and Hell's Gate National Park . Major attractions in the Rift valley include the fresh water lakes and alkaline lakes doted along the valley. These include Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha , Lake Baringo and Bogoria. Other attractions include Mount Longonot , Hell's Gate National Park, Menengai Crater, Lake Nakuru National Park , Crescent Island Wildlife Sanctuary and Elsamere Conservation Center.
