A wide variety of rare wildlife abounds: the reticulated giraffe and gerenuks with groups of the herding nomadic samburu people . Access to Samburu

The Samburu reserve is located in Samburu district in the Rift Valley Province , at approximately 325 km from Nairobi . The roads give a fair access route to the park via the Ngare Mare and Buffalo springs gates with daily flights to Samburu.
