Kayaking and water rafting

Kayaking and water rafting are two things you can’t do without if you happen to be spending your holiday near a large water body. Many visitors have atKenya Vacationsed to the fact that these ports are better than fishing, because while you can fail to catch a fish while out fishing, you can never fail to catch the great view and air of the surroundings. Kayaking is similar to water rafting but only the locations differ. While kayaking can be done in the open sea, water rafting is often done around dams, lakes and rivers. The sport is popular as a team building and outdoor group game. It is however a physical sport that requires skill and an unyielding persona especially when maneuvering the rapid flow of a running river/ water fall. In Kenya, this is done at river Tana and the Kindaruma and Masinga dams. Lake Naivasha , Lake Nakuru and Lake Victoria offer this thrilling experience too. The month of January is always abuzz with kayaking activities and gets better as the rainy season approaches in March through to June. A fee of 100 euros and a further 500 euros for participation each year is levied.
