During this 6-day period, you will experience three different ecosystems that complement each other. Experience the Amboseli national reserve with the Great Mount Kilimanjaro in the backdrop. Then a visit to the Great Rift valley for great moments with the thousands of flamingo colonies and other migratory birds that converge on the soda lakes. The Maasai Mara offers abundance of wildlife and later in the year welcomes millions of wildebeest, zebras and other game during the great migratory season. Some of the unforgettable moments during this tour: ? Diverse ecosystems; open plains, swamps and marshland fed by melting snows of Mt. Kilimanjaro, acacia woodlands and rocky thorn country. Wildlife found here are lions, elephants, leopards, rhino, cheetahs, wildebeests, giraffes, zebras, gazelles, antelopes and buffaloes. Hippos can be seen in the swamps and springs.   • Day 1 Morning and late afternoon game drives through the park where you might spot elephants, white rhinos, buffaloes, lion, cheetah, wildebeest, hyena, giraffes and zebras. In between game drives you can lounge in the pool or bar or take a nap.

  • Day 2 An early morning game drive through L. Nakuru N. Park will start the day. Later we proceed through the Rift valley across Maasailand to the Maasai Mara reserve. The Mara is the most popular game reserve in Africa due to the annual great migration of millions of wildebeests from Serengeti national park across the plains into Maasai Mara in Kenya in search of water and green grass.

  • Day 3 This day will be spent driving across the Mara plains in search of its great array of wildlife. From Siria escarpment you will be able to view elephants, giraffes and other herbivores. We will also visit the crossing point of the great migration on the Mara River where you will be able to view giant crocodiles and hippos basking in the muddy waters.

  • Day 4 A morning game drive followed by breakfast will end our stay in Mara. We then drive back to Nairobi

  • Day 5 We meet after breakfast for a drive to Amboseli National Park located 260 Kms (160 miles) from Nairobi towards the Tanzanian border. You will have lunch at Ol Tukai lodge- Amboseli. Amboseli national park is located at the foot of Africa’s highest mountain-Mt. Kilimanjaro that dominates the landscape. The park offers the best wildlife viewing experiences due to its diverse ecosystems and the afternoon will be spent exploring its fantastic array of wildlife.

  • Day 6 We spend the morning driving through the Rift valley to L. Nakuru National park. Have lunch in one of the lodges after which we drive in the late afternoon through the park. The park has magnificent bird life including flamingo colonies as well as other game.
